Funding for 'Wylde Britain' concerts - a personal message from Laurence Perkins
FINANCIAL HELP NEEDED
I do not take a fee for any performance of 'Wylde Britain'. Each concert is a fundraising event, and my contribution is organising the events and giving the live performance.
What I do need is financial help to cover essential expenses for these fundraising concerts. This is to cover the cost of travel, accommodation* and venue hire* (where needed), publicity and other necessary resources and facilities.
The amount needed varies with each venue, but I need to budget £400 per concert from donations to ensure that all costs are covered. If any event requires less than this, the balance will be carried forward to future performances. There are plans to tour in 2027 and beyond (depending on the audience response to this project), but if / when the touring ends, any balance will be paid in full to UK-Med as a donation.

* There are a few venues that have very kindly waived their heating and other costs, and have allowed the use of their premises free of charge. To avoid complications, they are not identified here, but their generosity is very much appreciated. There are also many other people who have offered free accommodation, or have given their services either free of charge or at significantly reduced rates - again, this is very greatly appreciated and is a significant help to this fundraising project.
